So we've said it a couple of times already, but this time its 100% true! OUR EP WILL BE UP THIS WEEK! We are so incredibly excited to have this ready for you. It's been a long time coming (at least in our eyes it has been). Teaser video will be up by Wednesday and the EP will be up by Friday/Saturday. Our Friends in Paper Lions have released an unreal acoustic EP, for FREE. I met these guys when I was living out west in Jasper, Alberta. They came through town to play a show for their friend who ran the Horseshoe Club, on one of their nights off between Edmonton and Calgary. We ended up chatting as my friend, Nic and I were some of the only people at the show. I love "Trophies" (their first EP) but I do have to admit, there is something unbelievable about "At Long Creek". So we've been very busy over the past week. Being as it was NXNE many of you will understand. Whats new: We played at Nocturne a week ago today (thursday) for our friend Marc's film fundraiser. During that show we sneaked over to the Velvet Underground to go see Molly Rankin's new band Always and to see Topanga, play their NXNE sets. Always played an amazing set and sadly we only caught a bit of Topanga's set before we had to head back to play ours @ Nocturne. Friday night was the best night of NXNE (for me at least), we got to see soo many friends, Paper Lions, Dwayne Gretzkey and Teenage Kicks played at the Elmo then Sandman Viper Command played at Sneaks at 3am. Amazing times. We ended up playing a last minute NXNE set at Sneaks on Sunday night at 3am. We want to thank our friends for coming out, to help fill up the floor. Last but not least! The EP has been mixed and is getting mastered by Josh Korody on Monday at Candle Studios. We are so excited for everyone to hear it. Stay tuned in.

Mike and I are loving this record right now. So glad they made another album, as they were one of my favourite bands growing up. We/re recording harmonies this week and hopefully finishing everything up by our show on the 14th.
Our dear, dear friend Michelle Cortese is the best. Not only has she put up with us recording and rehearsing in her apartment, she has ALSO been helping with some design ideas, as well as taking some sweet pictures of us. We owe her so much. Thanks Cortese. :)
We've been super busy. Booking a lot of shows and getting the EP ready for release. If you check out our Tour page you'll see a lot of our new dates. We're rehearsing and writing a lot for our EP Release show which is slated for July 6th. We're so excited for this summer, meeting tons of new friends and playing our tunes for y'all. GET BETTER PAPA PINO, be more careful riding your bike next time.
